Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Unquant ("we", "us"). They cover your use of unquant.io, your account, and the Unquant API (together, the "Service").
Please read them before you subscribe. If you don't agree with them, don't use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
1. Who can use Unquant
1.1. You must be at least 18 years old to apply for, create or use an account.
1.2. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you're authorised to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.
1.3. Unquant is currently in beta. While our open beta runs, you can create an account without applying, while places last; otherwise access is by application and invitation, and we decide which applications to accept.
2. What we provide
2.1. Unquant provides access to large language models (currently GLM-5.3-Flash and Qwen 3.8 Flash Next) through an OpenAI-compatible API, at a flat monthly price.
2.2. Unlimited use. Each plan includes unlimited tokens and messages: we don't cap or meter how much you send or receive. Plans differ by model, context window and the number of requests you can run at the same time ("concurrent streams"), as shown on our pricing page when you subscribe.
2.3. Uncensored models. The models we serve have had refusal behaviour removed at the weight level. They will attempt requests that other providers refuse, and their output may be inaccurate, offensive or otherwise unsuitable. You are responsible for how you use the Service and its output (see section 6).
2.4. Model changes. AI models improve quickly and we aim to keep you on current, comparable models. We may update or replace a model with a successor or equivalent model in the same class. If a change materially reduces what your plan provides, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel (section 5).
2.5. Beta service. During the beta the Service is under active development. It may be interrupted for maintenance or upgrades, and we don't promise any particular uptime or speed. We'll try to keep interruptions short and to tell you about planned work.
3. Applications, invitations and demos
3.1. When we accept an application we send an invitation. The invitation and your place are held for 72 hours (or longer if we tell you so); after that it may be released and you would need to apply again. While our open beta runs, this activation window does not apply: you can subscribe whenever you’re ready.
3.2. Where offered, you can try a free demo of your plan (its length is shown before you start, and it starts when you choose to begin it). A demo can be used once per account, must be started before any activation window ends, and ends automatically.
4. Your account and API keys
4.1. Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
4.2. Keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys. Tell us promptly at contact@unquant.io if you think a key or your account has been compromised; you can revoke keys at any time in your dashboard.
4.3. Your plan's concurrent streams are for you (or your organisation). Don't share, resell or sublicense your access or keys, and don't use multiple accounts or other techniques to get around your plan's limits, unless we've agreed it in writing.
5. Subscriptions, payment, cancellation and refunds
5.1. Billing. Plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars (other currencies shown on the site are estimates for convenience). Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
5.2. Founding rates. If you subscribe at a founding rate, that rate stays the same for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel, or the subscription lapses, the founding rate ends.
5.3. Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any increase to an active subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
5.4. Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
5.5. 7-day refund. If you're not happy, ask for a refund within 7 days of your first payment for a plan and we'll refund it in full.
5.6. Your statutory right to cancel (UK consumers). If you're a consumer, you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing. Because you ask us to start the Service straight away, if you cancel under this right after the 7-day full-refund period we'll refund what you paid less a proportionate amount for the Service provided up to the time you told us you were cancelling. To use this right, email contact@unquant.io or cancel in your dashboard.
5.7. Failed payments. If a payment fails we may pause API access until it's resolved.
5.8. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Acceptable use
Uncensored doesn't mean anything goes. You must not use the Service, or help anyone else use it, to:
6.1. create, request or distribute sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises children. This is absolutely prohibited; we will terminate the account and report it to the relevant authorities;
6.2. create or distribute intimate or sexual imagery or content of a real, identifiable person without their consent, or deceptive impersonation of real people (for example deepfakes used to defraud or harass);
6.3. plan, facilitate or carry out violence, terrorism, or the development or use of biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological weapons;
6.4. develop or deploy malware, or attack, gain unauthorised access to, or disrupt any system, network or service you don't own or have permission to test;
6.5. commit fraud, scams, phishing, or other unlawful deception, or launder money;
6.6. harass, threaten, stalk or exploit any person, or incite hatred or violence against people based on protected characteristics;
6.7. infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or process personal data unlawfully;
6.8. break any law that applies to you or to us;
6.9. interfere with the Service or other customers: for example by probing or attacking our infrastructure, getting around rate or concurrency limits, or reverse engineering the Service except where the law allows.
You're responsible for the prompts you send and for checking and how you use any output. Don't rely on output for medical, legal, financial or other professional decisions without appropriate expert advice.
7. Your content
7.1. You keep all rights in the prompts you send and the output you receive. You give us only the rights needed to process them to provide the Service.
7.2. We do not store your prompts or completions. They are processed in memory to generate a response and are not written to logs or databases, and we don't use them to train models. We record only operational metadata such as request times, token counts, speeds and errors, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension and termination
8.1. We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms (especially section 6), if we must do so by law, or to protect the Service, other customers or the public. Where we end a subscription without fault on your part, we'll refund any unused, prepaid part of the current period.
8.2. You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
9. Our liability
9.1. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law. If you're a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.
9.2. If you're a consumer, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable. We provide the Service for domestic and private use; we're not liable to consumers for loss of profit, business, business opportunity or business interruption.
9.3. If you're using the Service for business, we're not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
9.4. The models' output is generated automatically and may be wrong. Subject to 9.1 and 9.2, the Service is provided "as is" during the beta.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes to the Service or the law. We'll give you reasonable notice of material changes by email or in your dashboard. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the changes take effect.
11. General
11.1. These terms (with the Privacy Policy and the plan details shown when you subscribe) are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
11.2. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
11.3. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation; we'll tell you if we do, and it won't affect your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written agreement.
11.4. Nobody else has any rights under these terms.
11.5. Law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings there.
