How to use Reasonix with Unquant
Reasonix is built around DeepSeek but takes any OpenAI-compatible provider. Add Unquant and it runs on GLM-5.3-Flash or Qwen 3.8 Flash Next, unlimited.
1 Store your key
Reasonix reads keys from
~/.reasonix/.env, not from your shell. Runreasonix setup, or add the line yourself:UNQUANT_API_KEY=your-unquant-key2 Add the provider
Edit
~/.reasonix/config.toml(a project's ownreasonix.tomloverrides it):config_version = 1 default_model = "unquant/glm-5.3-flash" [[providers]] name = "unquant" kind = "openai" base_url = "https://api.unquant.io/v1" model = "glm-5.3-flash" api_key_env = "UNQUANT_API_KEY"3 Run Reasonix
Start
reasonixin your project. Its reasoning view shows the models' thinking, returned inreasoning_content.
